Biyori was created to share the quiet beauty of everyday Japanese culture.
Founded by Yen, a Japanese tea ceremony student living in Germany, Biyori brings together traditions such as wagashi, matcha, and kimono in small, hands-on workshops.
Rather than formal demonstrations, Biyori offers intimate cultural experiences where participants can learn, create, and enjoy together.

Wagashi are traditional Japanese sweets inspired by the changing seasons.
In our workshops you will learn how to shape delicate sweets using natural ingredients and traditional techniques.
Each session explores the connection between taste, nature, and aesthetics.
Biyori is a small atelier where Japanese traditions are shared slowly and thoughtfully.
Workshops are held in small groups, allowing space for curiosity, conversation, and quiet focus.
Rather than demonstrations, participants are invited to experience cultural practices through their own hands — shaping wagashi, preparing matcha, or learning the rhythm of wearing kimono.
Each gathering is an opportunity to pause and experience the beauty of everyday Japanese culture.
