About Kimono
This designer houmongi is part of a kimono line created by François Morechand, a French designer known for introducing modern and Western design sensibilities into Japanese kimono.
The kimono features a soft gradient of pink, lavender, and pale blue, with flying bird motifs arranged across the lower body. The design avoids seasonal symbolism and instead focuses on movement, space, and color transitions. This gives the piece a contemporary feel while maintaining the structure and formality of a houmongi.
