Our lessons are designed to make kimono feel approachable, comfortable, and part of everyday life. Whether you are completely new or already familiar, you are welcome to join at your own pace.

Example Lesson Structure

Beginner

— Learn to dress yourself and go out in kimono —

This course is for people who:

  • “I’d like to wear kimono, but it looks difficult.”
  • “I learned before, but I’ve forgotten everything.”

It teaches kimono from the basics.

In the beginner course, you’ll carefully learn step by step:

  • How to use dressing tools
  • How to do body shaping (padding / adjustment)
  • The basics of nagajuban and kimono
  • Typical ways to tie a Nagoya obi

The final goal is:

To be able to dress yourself and go out confidently on your own.

Instead of only watching videos, you’ll practice directly and learn:

  • detailed hand movements
  • how much force to use

through hands-on instruction.

You’re still very welcome to join even if you’re missing some items or you don’t have a kimono at all — you can use mine during the lesson.
